How to set retraining intervals your team will actually keep

Renee MarshRisk & Compliance5 May 20264 min read

Most compliance frameworks expect training to repeat on a defined interval. The trick is choosing an interval that keeps people current without becoming background noise they tune out.

A practical default

  • Annual retraining for the full curriculum as a baseline.
  • Shorter cycles for high-risk departments such as finance.
  • Automated reminders at 14, 7, and 1 day before each deadline.

Department-level rollups let you see who is on track without micromanaging, and the automated reminders do the chasing so administrators do not have to.
